Zero Germ Review: Does it Really Work?

Home » Health » Zero Germ Review: Does it Really Work?

Last Updated: June 2, 2020 //  by John Cruz

zero-germ-smartphone-sanitizerWelcome to my Zero Germ review.

I’m sure that besides you germaphobes out there, the majority would not even consider buying something like Zero Germ.

Thanks to the Coronavirus, I think the majority has changed.

Now we are probably all germaphobes and things like Zero Germ all of a sudden became a very interesting device.

With our cellphones being used more than anything we own, there comes a serious need to get them sanitized.

Clorox wipes are definitely not something I recommend not to do as they will probably just ruin things.

Maybe on counters and everything else, but not so much your smartphone.

So how do you disinfect and sanitize such belongings?

You get Zero Germ.

The ultra-violet light smartphone sanitizer.

Does Zero Germ really work?

Is it worth buying or just a waste of money?

There are many simple, yet critical questions that come with the territory and that is what this Zero Germ review is for.

Just like you, I was curious to see what this can really do and that’s what led me to do more research.

So before you go buying Zero Germ, let me show you what you can expect.

Zero Germ Review (Cellphone Sanitizer)

Product Name: Zero Germ

Creators: InvenTel Products

Website: www.tryzerogerm.com

Price: $19.99

Claim: Sanitize cellphones and other small objects

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

This is one of the many flops that come from TV and one that I wouldn’t recommend. I know we are living in a very cautious time and germs are something we don’t want around, but something like Zero Germ is not going to help. If anything, it might make things worse by having you think that you’re getting rid of germs when you’re really not.

What is Zero Germ?

Zero Germ is an ultraviolet light sanitizer that kills 99.9% of germs on smartphones along with other like-sized objects like keys, remote controls, glasses, toothbrushes, etc. that we are in contact with daily.

With the fact that we are in a pandemic thanks to COVID-19, this is one of the products that you might want to invest in.

But then again, this is an As Seen on TV product, so all that exaggeration might just be that.

Exaggeration.

So before you panic and make a purchase on something that might not be worth buying, let me show you a little more on what you will actually be getting.

Claims of Zero Germ

phone-germs

Now there are several reasons as to why you would even consider a product like Zero Germ.

Like I mentioned earlier, this was something I never even thought about getting until the current situation we are in.

So the main feature of Zero Germ is to sterilize your smartphone and whatever else that can fit in Zero Germ.

We all know our cellphones are as dirty as they can be and we definitely should sanitize them.

Using Clorox wipes or anything of that nature will probably damage your phone, so that’s not recommended.

With Zero Germ, you can sanitize it through medical grade ultra violet light technology.

What’s better than not using water to clean a phone, right?

Well that’s the main function of Zero Germ and probably the only reason you will want to get it in the first place.

To get a little more enticing, they also claim to kill some of the more common and not so cool bacteria.

  • Flu
  • Salmonella
  • Strep
  • E. Coli
  • Fecal matter

I like the fecal matter part because the who doesn’t bring their phone into the bathroom while taking a doo doo?

If anything, that’s probably a better time to use it.

So yeah, Zero Germ can get rid of fecal matter, which is something I’m sure we all don’t want on our phones.

Does Zero Germ Work?

Looking for a Zero Germ review to tell you whether or not it works is kind of crazy actually.

You can’t put your cellphone in Zero Germ and think that it is sterilized.

Thinking is about all people will do and that’s why no one can give real results.

So what do you do?

You get a blacklight that I believe should have come with this product to begin with.

I can just imagine shopping on Amazon for this thing and the whole “customers who bought this item also bought” and how that black light probably shows up.

Besides that, there is no other way that you and I are able to tell if in fact Zero Germ actually works.

So what do I do?

I get the fricken black light.

Yeah right.

I did not get the light, but I looked up other Zero Germ reviews just like you did.

“not worth it”

“used a black light and I still saw germs”

You see guys, when you buy something that is supposed to do one job, then guess what?

It better do the dang job.

Zero Germ does not do its job and it doesn’t even live up to its claims.

It said it takes 5 minutes to sterilize your phone but it says 15 minutes on the box.

Too much talk and hype, not enough pulling through.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Can charge your phone
  • Does have a 30 day money back guarantee

Cons

  • Not many good reviews
  • False claims
  • Does not completely work
  • Not recommended

The Zero Germ Alternative

phone-soap

In a time of panic and uneasiness, I’m sure you all want something that actually works.

You want to sanitize your belongings and most especially your smartphone.

Of course the gizmos and gadgets that come from As Seen On TV land are very sketchy.

They get you curious but have you question everything thanks to two things.

The crazy actors and claims along with the amount of failed products that have come from there.

Thanks to people like myself, we absolutely love to test things from TV.

Regardless of what anyone says, I have to see it for myself.

Zero Germ is one of those products that didn’t meet our expectations, especially with all the Coronavirus panic out there.

However, I did my research and I have found one product that I can actually recommend.

It’s called the PhoneSoap.

Yup, this product will sanitize your phone and it comes with thousands of positive reviews.

If you aren’t pleased with the information on this Zero Germ review, you might want to give the PhoneSoap a try.

Final Verdict

thumbs-downZero Germ is nothing more than a box to put your phone in while it charges.

I don’t recommend it for what it’s supposed to do but rather for the fact that it’s a nice charger.

Besides that, I wouldn’t say this is your best bet at sanitizing your phone.

I do not recommend Zero Germ but if you want that cool charger and maybe some kind of sanitizing, then this will work.

I personally don’t like it and I am a huge fan of As Seen on TV products.

I like the Egg Sitter cushion and I even like the other crazy products they offer.

Zero Germ is just not one of them.

The final decision is yours.

I do hope this Zero Germ review has been of some great help to you.
